More general pages of the City of Elliot Lake. Some of the streets and houses and buildings in my general
neighbourhood and area. Also..my dog Finnigan is in some of the pictures.
I brake for BEARS! You can see him through my back window here. This was on
Axmith Ave. The back yard of this persons house runs back to Angel Lake and the
bush.
Elliot Lake Secondary School and the forest/rock beside it. Lots of rock
outcroppings around here and hills. Almost every road has a hill or a grade.
The houses are fairly simple design for the most part. Many like the post war
houses and those that are on Military Bases. Simple but good.
Looking down the hill from my house. The distant hill is visible. Lots of hills and rock
and forests and lakes in the area in and around town.
Canadian Tire and the road going down to hiway 108. In the distance;
the hills and the firetower lookout (hidden by trees).
A popular strip mall in Elliot Lake (just up from the high school).
The oval track in behind the high school.
Some Condominiums and a Catholic church. Elliot Lake is visible just to
the right of the flag pole.
The curling club (near Canadian Tire).
NEW..MAY 4TH 2007..I HAVE ADDED A NEW PAGE with some pictures of a visiting BEAR.
C
lick here to go see them.
Birds eye view of Elliot Lake. This is the old sub
division area near the High School (oval track). Some
multi story apartments are in the view (Washington
St).
Here are some of the houses in town. The houses resemble the typical sub division
styles of the houses built right after World War 2 for the veterans of the war and the
houses built on the military bases and radar bases of the 1950s.
MY WEB PAGES ARE ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I dabble at them from time to
time. It is a hobby of mine these web pages. I take photos and do some writing. Keeps my
spelling sharp and hopefully it is good exercise for my mind.

I use the Yahoo Small Business web design software. Besides my hobby activities such
as Amateur Radio, fishing and working on my waterfront property, I also am trying to set
up a small home based business. So far..I haven't really made any profit, but it is an
interesting venture.
