| ON THE BENCH. Here I was pulling TTL microcircuits (integrated circuits) from an old circuit board. I used to work in the Federal Government in the Cataloguing and management of these little devices. I still have some of the old books I used for research. Part of my small business effort is to recycle electronic parts. Some I use for my own projects. Some I sell to hobby people. If I sell used parts/good pulls..I can test them with my modern test equipment. IC's however..I cannot generally test. I can sell them cheap however. |

That is a VFO circuit I have been working on. MY bench is sometimes crowded ..but guess what..
this spring 2008....I am doubling the size of my storage facilities for parts and my work bench
area. I will soon have a dedicated test station for radio equipment..complete with 100mhz scope,
HP Spectrum Analyser and Sweep Generator.
I have about 10 transceivers I have acquired for fix up. I will work on them and set up some test
jigs and charts for troubleshooting and get all my radio repair manuals in place..THEN I should
be able to start branching out to repairs for other people.
